Bhubaneswar: Two youths were killed when their bike rammed into a tree in Sundargarh district of Odisha today.

The deceased have been identified as Kishore Bariha and Sanjay Majhi of Vedabahal under Sundargarh Sadar police limits, sources said.

The incident took place when the two youths were returning home after taking bath in a river in the evening.

The speeding bike rammed into a roadside tree after the biker lost control over it. Locals rescued the two youths in a critical condition and rushed them to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHH). However, they were declared dead on arrival by the doctors.

On being informed, the police reached the DHH and sent the bodies for postmortem.
