In a tragic incident, two persons were killed as the bike on which they were travelling collided head-on with an engineering college bus near Sitalapalli village under Chamakhandi police limits in Odisha's Ganjam district this morning.

The deceased were identified as cousin brothers in relation.
The impact of the collision was such that a wheel of the motorcycle got detached from the two-wheeler.
The driver of the bus fled the spot after the accident, sources said.
Police have started investigation into the incident.
