2 minor girls meet watery grave in Odisha's Cuttack

Cuttack: In a tragic incident, two sisters drowned to death in a pond in Cuttack district of Odisha, today.

The deceased have been identified as three-year-old Srabani Sahoo and her sister Jyotirmayee Sahoo of Krushnachandrapur village under Badamba police limits.

According to sources, the two had gone to the water body to take bath, when they slipped and drowned.

Their bodies were rescued by the locals and a pall of gloom descended upon the village after the mishap.
