2 Odia litterateurs to receive Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award

Bhubaneswar: In a good news for Odisha literature lovers, Gayatri Sharaf and Suryamani Khuntia, two litterateurs from the state, will be conferred with the prestigious Kendra Sahitya Akademi Award.

While Sharaf will get the award for her short story collection ‘Ita Bhati Ra Shilpi’, Khuntia will receive the Translation Prize by the Akademi for his book ‘Juganta’.

A decision in this regard was taken by the Executive Board of the Sahitya Akademi at its meeting today.
