2 years after dissolution, Odisha Congress Committee restructured

Bhubaneswar: Two years after dissolving Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC), All India Congress Committee (AICC) today reconstituted the panel by appointing new office-bearers.

“Congress President has approved proposal of appointment of office-bearers and executive committee members of OPCC, with immediate effect,” said a communique issued by the AICC today.

The new committee will have 12 Vice-Presidents, including MLA Satish Singh Saluja, former MLAs  Ganeswar Behera and Debashis Patnaik and  20 General Secretaries, including former Odisha Youth Congress President Rajat Choudhury and journalist-turned-politician Satya Prakash Nayak.

The committee also consists of 46 Secretaries and one Treasurer.

Besides, AICC also reconstituted the Executive Committee of OPCC with party Working President Pradeep Majhi, CLP leader Narasingha Mishra and MLA Suresh Routray appointed as its members, among others. The committee also includes Ex-officio members, including all MLAs/MPs  and AICC office-bearers from the state, former PCC Presidents and all heads of Frontal Organisations.
