2 youths killed in road mishap during Ram Navami rally in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Two youths were killed in a road mishap during a bike rally to mark the Ram Navami in Sundargarh district of Odisha today.

The incident took place near a filling station at Tumulia under Talsara police limits in Sundargarh.

The deceased have been identified as Bastab Majhi (17) and Abhimanyu Baa (18) of Subdega area in the district.

Some locals organised a bike rally from Balisankara to Subdega to celebrate the Ram Navami. The duo’s bike collided with a heavy truck during the rally. They died on the spot.

The incident triggered tension in the locality.
