About 12,000 students fromOdisha appeared in the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET), organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which began at 89 centres in the country today.

Of the 89 centres, there are three centres in Bhubaneswar, Brahmapur and Sambalpur.
The test is being held for three papers.
While the test for the first paper was held from 9.30 AM to 10.45 AM, the test for second paper was held from 11.15 AM to 12.30 PM. The test for third paper began from 2 PM and will conclude at 4.30 PM.
There would be an overtall test for 84 papers, sources in the CBSE said.
