229 more COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar:  The number of COVID-19 recovered cases in the state rose 5934 after 229 more patients recovered from the diseases in the last 24 hours. They are being discharged today, informed  the Health and Family Welfare Department.

The recovered cases have been reported from 15 districts: Ganjam ( 91), Khordha (29), Gajapati (26), Jharsuguda (15), Balangir (12), Jagatsinghpur (11), Mayurbhanj (11), Jajpur (8),  Kendrapada (6), Keonjhar (5), Cuttack (4), Sundergarh (4), Bhadrak (3)and Nayagarh (3) and Bargarh (1).

Earlier in the day, Odisha reported 495 fresh COVID-19 cases, including 355 from quarantine centres and 140 locals contacts. The state’s total tally now stands at 8601.
