24-YO man among 22 dies of COVID-19 in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The deadly COVID-19 claimed 22 more lives including a 24-year-old man in last 24 hours in Odisha.

The deceased youth was from Angul district. He succumbed to the virus while undergoing treatment at a hospital.

Including the case, 22 fresh COVID deaths were reported from 13 districts yesterday.

“Regret to inform the demise of 22 numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” the State Health & Family Welfare Department informed today.

Of single-day new COVID deaths in Odisha, Khordha district reported the highest deaths of 4 in a single day followed by Angul district with 3.

With new COVID fatalities, the toll due to virus surged to 2,273 in the State.

5.A 75 years old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus, Hypothyroidsim & Bronchial Asthma.

6.A 47 years old female of Bolangir district.

7.A 50 years old female of Boudh district.

8.A 97 years old female of Cuttack district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Coronary Artery Disease.

9.A 59 years old male of Deogarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertensiomn.

10.A 72 years old female of Ganjam district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

11.A 46 years old male of Gajapati district.

12.A 59 years old male of Kendrapara district.

13.A 65 years old male of Kendrapara district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

14.A 60 years old male of Khurdha district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

15.A 47 years old male of Khurdha district.

16.A 44 years old male of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Hypertension.

17.A 50 years old female of Kalahandi district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

18.A 60 years old male of Kandhamal district who was also suffering from Hypertension & Diabetes Mellitus.
