2423 fresh COVID cases reported in Odisha; here’re details
Bhubaneswar: Another 2423 persons in Odisha tested positive for the deadly Coronavirus in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total count to 2,54,662.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1417 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1006 are local contacts. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 359 fresh cases followed by Angul (229) and Sundargarh (195).

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 25,954. However, 2,27,615 patients have recovered in the state so far.
Total 41,096 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 37,96, 767 tests have been conducted in the state.
