247 fresh COVID-19 cases detected in Odisha capital

Bhubaneswar: As many as 247 more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Odisha capital taking the tally to 4842, official sources said today.

Out of the 247 cases, 148 were detected in quarantine while 99 are local contact cases.

With this, the number of active COVID-19 cases in the city rose to 1695 while 3118 persons have recovered from the disease so far.

Bhubaneswar has reported 23 deaths due to COVID-19 till date.
