Bhubaneswar: Out of 28 new COVID-19 positive cases reported from Khordha district in last 24 hours, 25 cases belong to Bhubaneswar.
Of new 25 cases, 23 are local contacts and 2 have been detected from home quarantines, informed Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) today.
With fresh cases, COVID-19 tally in Bhubaneswar now rose to 314, of which 135 are active cases. Four patients have succumbed to the virus in the city so far.
Meanwhile, 7 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the city taking the total count of recovered cases to 174.

Further contact tracing is still continuing. Primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitised and will be under active surveillance, the BMC said in a tweet.
