25-YO youth killed by neighbour in Odisha

Rourkela: A 25-year-old youth was allegedly killed by his neighbour at Katakhandi under Bonai police station in Sundargarh district early this morning.

The deceased has been identified as Asish Nayak.

As per sources, the incident took place at around 8.30 AM. Asish’s mother Kuntala alleged one Tanu Nayak attacked her son with sharp weapons over previous enmity and absconded after committing the crime. Though Asish was immediately rushed to Bonai Sub-divisional Hospital, doctors declared him dead there.

On receiving information , Bonai police reached the spot and began a probe into the incident.    Search is underway to nab the accused, said police.
