2617 more test COVID-19 positive in Odisha; here’re details
Bhubaneswar: Another 2617 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the tally to 2,35,330.
Of the total fresh cases detected from all 30 districts, 1521 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1096 are local contacts. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 506 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (148) and Cuttack (136).

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 32,051. However, 2,02,302 patients have recovered in the state so far.
Total 41,567 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 34,82,402 tests have been conducted in the state.
