Bhubaneswar, Mar 22:
Just a week after three Congress MLAs were served show cause notice for their alleged anti-party remarks, Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) sent the notice for the second time seeking their explanation.
The notices were sent by OPCC's disciplinary committee to Tara Bahinipati, Anant Sethy and Prafulla Majhi asking why disciplinary action would not be taken against them for comment against party leadership in media.
Bahinipati, who is also Opposition chief whip, continued to defend himself saying he had not done anything wrong.
"What I have said that is right and it is for betterment of party", he said on the notice.
"The person who has served notice has less knowledge about Congress constitution", he added.
Earlier, Bahinipati along with Anant Sethy and Prafulla Majhi was served notice on March 17 for their alleged statement against party leadership following panchayat polls debacle.
They were asked why the action will not be taken against them for statement against OPCC president Prasad Harichandan and State in-charge BK Hariprasad. Also read:
