3 docs, 19 nurses placed under quarantine in Odisha’s Jajpur

Jajpur: As many as three doctors and 19 nurses have been placed under quarantine in Odisha’s Jajpur district after they came in contact with COVID-19 patients, informed Collector Ranjan Kumar Das today.

The doctors and nurses had come in contact with the COVID-19 positive persons at an OPD of a hospital, for which they have been put in quarantine at Jajpur Covid Care centre, the collector said.

Furthermore, their swab samples have been collected and sent for test. Family members of the doctors and nurses have been asked to be under home quarantine, he said,

Worth mentioning, a total of seven persons of Jajpur have tested positive for COVID-19 so far while one of them has been cured and discharged from hospital. As many as five persons from the district had tested positive for the virus yesterday.
