3 killed, 35 injured in bus-tanker collision in Odisha’s Khordha

Khordha: A head-on collision between a bus and an oil tanker on NH-57 near Sarua petrol pump in Odisha’s Khordha district today claimed at least three lives and left more than 35 persons injured.

According to reports, the mishap took place when the ill-fated bus was on its way to Banki from Khordha and collided head-on with an oil tanker.

While one died on the spot after the accident, two more succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the Khordha district headquarters hospital.

The victims have been hospitalised by police, reports added.
