Bhubaneswar: At least three Plus-III students of BJB Autonomous College in Odisha capital here were injured in a clash between two groups on their campus today.

The two groups reportedly clashed over passing of comments on the college premises.

Two separate complaints in this regard were lodged at Badagada police station, sources said.

According to sources, some students of the college had passed comments on others yesterday. The two groups clashed with each other when some students lodged a complaint in this regard with Principal Gulam Moinuddin Khan, sources said.

The boarders of Ambedkar Hostel have allegedly attacked the other group over the incident, said a source.

“Our officials are probing the incident. We will take stern action against the students involved in the clash,” said Bhubaneswar Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Prateek Singh.

It is worth mentioning here that two group of students had earlier clashed over the birthday celebration of a particular political leader on BJB College premises on July 4.
