30 injured after being bitten by stray dog in Odisha’s Rourkela

Rourkela: As many as 30 persons were injured after being bitten by a stray dog in Odisha’s Rourkela city since last evening.

While the animal had injured 25 persons, including some children, last evening, it bit five others this morning at Daily Market area here.

The victims were admitted to the Rourkela Government Hospital for treatment. The incident has left the residents of the area panic-stricken.

On the other hand, locals have expressed resentment alleging that Rourkela Municipal Corporation authorities aren’t taking adequate steps to capture the dog.
