3000 jaundice patients in Odisha’s Sambalpur

The number of patients afflicted by jaundice has touched 3000 in Odisha’s Sambalpur district with one more patient of Takaba village tested Hepatitis-E positive at the district headquarters hospital here on Saturday.

Till date, 1935 patients at the district headquarters hospital, 1027 patients at the nursing homes and 38 patients at the VSS Medical College and Hospital at Burla have been tested positive in the district, sources in the Health department said.
