Bhubaneswar: Odisha registered 3053 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours. With this, the tally further surged to 2,29,387.
A total of 46,404 number of samples were tested in the last 24 hours. So far 33,95,265 tests have been conducted in the state.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 1804 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1249 are local contacts. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 561 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (256) and Mayurbhanj (153).
