3067 new COVID-19 cases in Odisha; here’re district-wise details
Bhubaneswar: Another 3067 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total count to 2,15,676.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 1809 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1258 are local contacts. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 555 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (230) and Puri (178).

It is pertinent to mention here that, the state has been witnessing a fall in the positive cases for the last two days.
With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 37,210. However, 1,77, 585 patients have recovered in the state so far. Total 41452 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 32,00,852 tests have been conducted in the state.
