315 new COVID-19 infections detected in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Another 315 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total caseload to 3,29,621.    

Of the total fresh cases detected from 27 districts, 181 have been reported from different quarantine centres while 134 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.

Cuttack recorded highest 41 fresh cases followed by Balangir (40) and Nuapada and Sambalpur with 26 cases each. 

Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 2,592 and recovered cases at 3,25,103.
