37 more die of COVID-19 in Odisha; Toll up at 3,508

Bhubaneswar: Another 37 COVID patients died of the virus in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 3,508 in Odisha.

“Regret to inform the demise of thirty seven numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The fresh fatalities due to COVID-19 were reported from 14 districts. While Khordha registered the highest of 5 deaths in single day, 4 each died in Cuttack, Jharsuguda and Kalahandi districts.

Similarly, the virus claimed 3 lives each in Bargarh, Puri and Sundargarh districts, 2 each in Balangir, Deogarh, Kendrapara and Rayagada districts and 1 each in Gajapati, Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur districts in last 24 hours.

9.A 41 years old Male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus.

10.A 55 years old Male of Cuttack District.
