3748 new COVID-19 cases reported in Odisha; here’re details
Bhubaneswar: As many as 3748 more persons in Odisha tested positive for deadly Coronavirus in last 24 hours taking the state’s total count to 1,35,130.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 2210 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1538 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 615 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (392) and Puri (387).

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 32,312. However, 1,02,185 patients have recovered in the state so far.
It is pertinent to mention here that total 41,595 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 22,26,436 tests have been conducted in the state.
