39,000 students apply for OJEE exams

Nearly 39,000 students have applied for the Odisha Joint Entrance Examinations (OJEE) scheduled on May 11 next.

According to OJEE secretary Priyabrata Sahu, the number of applicants has drastically come down in comparison to previous years since the Medical and Engineering entrance examinations have been excluded from the OJEE.

He said the entrance examinations would be held for admission in the MCA, MBA, M.Tech, M.Tech (part-time), Lateral Entry Engineering, B.Pharm, Lateral Entry Pharmacy, PGDMS, PGCMS, BHMS and BAMS.

The examinations would begin at 9 AM and continue till 4.30 PM, Sahu said.
