4 children injured while bursting firecracker on Diwali in Odisha’s Bhadrak; 3 critical

Basudevpur: Four children sustained grievous injuries today in four separate incidents while bursting firecrackers on Diwali in Jitanaga village under Rural police limits, Saramara village of Bant block and two more villages under Dhamnagar and Basudevpur police limits in Bhadrak district.

Identities of the injured minors, including three boys and a girl, have not been ascertained yet.

According to a source, the four children were bursting firecrackers but their families were not present nearby. Appropriate precautionary measures were not taken while celebrating Diwali.

The conditions of three injured deteriorated and were admitted to the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in Bhadrak town.
