4 cops from Odisha awarded Union Home Minister’s Medal
Bhubaneswar: As many as four police officials of Odisha have been awarded the Union Home Minister’s Medal for Excellence in Investigation for the year 2020.
The cops are inspector Sushma Tirkey, sub-inspector Jugal Kishore Dash, sub-inspector Santoshi Barik, and sub-inspector Baba Sankar Saraf.

This medal was constituted in 2018 with the objective to promote high professional standards of investigation of crime and to recognize such excellence in investigation by investigating officers.
The medal has been awarded to a total of 121 police personnel of the country for this year.
