4 more deaths due to COVID-19 in Odisha; toll surpasses 1800-mark

Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll surpassed 1800-mark in Odisha with 4 new deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours.

“Regret to inform the demise of four numbers of Covid positive patients while under treatment in hospitals,” informed the State Health & Family Welfare Department today.

The new COVID deaths were reported from Sundargarh district (2), Balasore district (1) and Malkangiri district (1).

With the new Coronavirus deaths, the total number of fatalities increased to 1,802 in the State.

Here’re details of 4 fresh deaths due to COVID-19 in Odisha:

1.A 70-year-old male of Balasore district who was also suffering from Coronary Artery Disease & Hypertension.

2.A 70-year-old male of Malakangiri district who was also suffering from Diabetes Melitus, Hypertension, Chronic Obstructive Airway Disease & Coronary Artery Disease.

3.A 65-year-old male of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease & Hypertension.

4.A 55-year-old female of Sundargarh district who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
