4 more Odisha districts to experience thunderstorm today

Bhubaneswar: Four more districts of Odisha will witness thunderstorm today, according to the forecast of Met Department.

Moderate thunderstorm and lightning is likely in parts of Angul (namely Talcher), Dhenkanal, Keonjhar and Mayurbhanj as per the prediction of weathermen.

Gusty wind at 40 kmph and light to moderate rainfall may also occur in these areas.

The latest weather bulletin forecasts that such weather conditions will prevail between 4 pm and 7 pm today.

Thunderstorm and lightning warning was also issued for Gajapati, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nayagarh and Rayagada earlier today.

On the other hand heatwave warning has also been issued for Jharsuguda, Angul, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Nuapada, Sundergarh, Bargarh, Sonepur and Bolangir for next three days.
