4189 more Corona cases reported in Odisha; 14 districts report over 100 fresh cases
Bhubaneswar: Another 4189 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s total count to 1, 88,311.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 2453 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1736 are local contacts. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 712 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (586) and Puri (265). Total 14 districts recorded over 100 positive cases in the last 24 hours.

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 38,158. However, 1,49,379 patients have recovered in the state so far.
It is pertinent to mention here that total 45,676 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 28,60,410 tests have been conducted in the state.
