4209 new COVID-19 reported in Odisha; here’re district-wise details
Bhubaneswar: As many as 4209 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the state’s total count surged to 1,75,550 .
Khordha continues to record highest fresh cases (663 ) followed by Cuttack (491) and Puri (326).
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 2441 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1768 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 37,239. However, 1,37,567 patients have recovered in the state so far.
It is pertinent to mention here that total 48,075 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 27,15,822 tests have been conducted in the state.
