4241 new COVID-19 cases in Odisha; here’re district-wise figures
Bhubaneswar: As many as 4241 persons in Odisha tested positive for COVID-19 in the last 24 hours taking the state’s tally to 167161.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 30 districts, 2502 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 1739 are local contacts. Contact tracing and followup action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
Khordha recorded highest 647 fresh cases followed by Cuttack (389) and Puri (291).

With the new cases, the number of active cases in the state rose to 36580. However, 1,29,859 patients have recovered in the state so far.
It is pertinent to mention here that total 51,824 number of samples were tested in the state in the last 24 hours. So far 26,19,601 tests have been conducted in the state.
