43 more COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar:  The number of cured patients of COVID-19 rose to 436 after 43 more persons recovered from the deadly disease, informed Health and Family Welfare Department today.

The recovered patients are being discharged from the hospitals, the department added.

The discharged patients are -15 from Angul, eight each from Ganjam, Rourkela and Jajpur, and one each from Puri, Kendrapada, Cuttack and Boudh districts.

With this, the number of active cases in the state deceased to 746. While 162 patients have recovered in highest-affected  Ganjam district bringing down the number of active cases to 157, 71 have recovered in Jajpur.
