Bhubaneswar: Amidst the COVID-19 resurgence, 452 more persons in Odisha tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours taking the state's tally to 3,42,224
Khordha recorded the highest spike of 77 cases followed by Sundargarh (75) and Nuapada (71). Â
Of the total fresh cases detected from 28 districts, 267 are quarantine cases while remaining 185 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department.
In the last 24 hours, 26,700 samples were tested in the state. With the fresh cases, the number of total active cases further surged to 2,820.
So far 3,37,430 patients have recovered from the disease in the state.
