Bhubaneswar: A spike of 480 COVID-19 cases were detected in Odisha in the last 24 hours. With this, the state's total caseload surged to 3,19,583.
Of the total fresh cases detected from 28 districts, 276 have been reported from different quarantine centres while remaining 204 are local contact cases. Contact tracing and follow-up action is underway, said Information and Public Relation (I & PR ) Department today.
Khordha recorded highest 51 fresh cases followed by Angul (41) and Mayurbhanj (36).
Currently, the number of total active cases in the state stands at 5,046 and recovered cases at 3,12,734.
