5 more COVID-19 patients succumb to virus in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Five more COVID-19 persons in Odisha succumbed to the deadly virus in the last 24 hours taking the toll to 1,760.

“Regret to inform the demise of five COVID-19 patients while under treatment in hospitals”, informed the State Health and Family Welfare Department today.

With 2 more COVID-19 deaths, Odisha’s toll nears 1900

With 2 more COVID-19 deaths, Odisha’s toll rises to 1,885

The five deceased belonged to Khordha (2), Jagatsinghpur (1), Nayagarh (1) and Puri (1).

Details of death cases:

-A 55-year-old male of Bhubaneswar who was also suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.

-A 79-year-old female of Bhubaneswar.

-A 59-year-old male of Jagatsinghpur district.

-A 50-year-old male of Nayagarh district.

-A 72-year-old male of Puri district who was suffering from Diabetes Mellitus & Hypertension.
