5-year-old boy axed to death in Odisha; neighbour detained

Rayagada: In a gruesome incident, a five-year-old boy was axed to death by a neighbour at Bhaliapadar village under Muniguda police limits in Rayagada district today.

However, the Muniguda police have detained the accused and are interrogating him in this connection.

Though the exact cause behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected to be a fallout of a rivalry between two families.
