50 more COVID-19 patients recover in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As many as 50 COVID-19 patients of Odisha tested negative for the virus and recovered, official sources said today.

Out of the 50 persons, 22 are from Ganjam, 15 from Balasore, 5 from Bhadrak, 3 each from Jajpur and Boudh, and one each from Mayurbhanj and Rourkela, sources said, adding that they are being discharged.

With this, the number of recovered persons in the state rose to 393.

Earlier in the day, Odisha had reported 7th death due to COVID-19 and 51 fresh cases. An 85-year-old man (Surat returnee) of Ganjam district succumbed to the deadly virus. He had hypertension with other comorbidities.
