Bhandaripokhari: In a tragic turn of events, around 40 passengers were hurt, 10 critically, after a tourist  bus turned turtle at Bhandaripokhari in Bhadrak district of Odisha here today. As per reports, the private bus named 'Sivam' was heading towards Puri from Kolkata when it overturned near Chatabar petrol pump along NH 16 at around 10 am.

Of the 62 passengers onboard, 40 of them suffered injuries and 10 others were grievously hurt. On getting information, fire services and police personnel rushed to the spot and started rescue operations. The injured victims were immediately rushed to the community health centre.

Police, meanwhile, has registered a case and started investigation.
