Berhampur: Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) today said swab samples of 4,282 persons have been collected in Berhampur town till yet. BeMC Commissioner Chakravarti Singh Rathore informed a total of 1,566 have tested positive for the coronavirus in the town. Of them, 1,035 have cured of the virus infection.

The BeMC Commissioner further said a total of 531 positive cases are undergoing treatment. As many as 504 COVID-19 patients are corona warriors

Till yet 16 from the town have succumbed to the virus.

Today the Ganjam district reported 484 fresh cases of COVID-19.
