Bhubaneswar: As many as 521 persons including 65 more between the age group of 0-18 years tested positive for COVID-19 in last 24 hours in Odisha, informed the State Information & Public Relation (I&PR) Department here today.
Of fresh cases from 25 districts, 304 cases were reported from different quarantine centres and 217 were the local contacts.
Total 64,377 samples were tested yesterday, out of which 521 were found positive for the deadly virus. With this, the COVID TPR stands at 0.81% in Odisha.
Khordha district continues to register the single-day highest cases in Odisha. The district reported 249 fresh cases while the infection rate is on decline in rest of the districts in the State.
