576 fresh COVID-19 cases in Odisha; Khordha highest at 204

Bhubaneswar: With surge in Covid-19 cases across the country, Odisha reported 576 fresh cases in the last 24 hours, informed the State I&PR Department here today.

As per the report by the Department, the highest number of 204 cases was reported from Khordha district followed by Cuttack district with 118 in a single day.

In Puri where a large number of pilgrims congregated to witness 9-day Ratha Jatra, 37 new infectees were identified in past 24 hours.

Similarly, Sundargarh district registered 42 fresh cases yesterday.

With this, the Covid-19 tally rose to 12,93,504, of which 3,027 cases are active so far.
