5G network service in 8 cities of Odisha by March 2023: Ashwini Vaishnaw

Bhubaneswar: The 5G network service will be launched in eight cities of Odisha by March of 2023, said Union Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw here today.

Attending an event organised by the Railways in Odisha capital, the minister also said that around 80 per cent areas of Odisha will have 5G coverage by December, 2023.

However, the minister didn’t disclose the names of the eight cities of the state which will have 5G network in the first phase.
