6-yr-old kid hit by speeding truck on Cuttack-Bhubaneswar NH
Cuttack: A six-year-old boy suffered critical injuries after a logistic truck hit him near Banapur Upper Primary (UP) School on Cuttack-Bhubaneswar national highway today.
Reportedly, Shankar Das, a student of Banapur UP School, was passing through the NH as the service road commuted by the school kids on regular basis, was flooded with rainwater today. While crossing the road, a speeding logistic truck hit him and fled the spot.

The minor was rushed to a nearby private hospital nearby for treatment and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital here as his condition deteriorated.
On receiving information, Cuttack Sadar police reached the spot and launched a manhunt to nab the driver of the vehicle.
