653 from Odisha to go on Haj pilgrimage this year

Bhubaneswar: As many as 653 persons including 386 males and 276 females from Odisha will go on Haj pilgrimage this year.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik felicitated Haj pilgrims and wished them for pilgrimage to Mecca in Saudi Arabia.

The CM also distributed the travel kit to the Hajis during a programme held at Jayadev Bhawan yesterday after inaugurating the Haj House in Bhubaneswar.

The Haj House will to facilitate transit accommodation and training to Haj pilgrims in the state.
