66th Filmfare Awards: Two awards for legend Irrfan Khan; here’s complete list of winners

Mumbai: The 66^th edition of the Filmfare Awards was hosted celebrating the magic of Indian film industry that continued to touch several lives amidst the despair of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The year 2020 turned out to be an equally dark year for the film industry as it lost some of its stars like Rishi Kapoor, Irrfan, Saroj Khan and Sushant Singh Rajput. But, with the motto ‘The show must go on’, Bollywood stood united in spirits and continued to entertain people who spent the entire year indoors amidst lockdowns and shutdowns.

Legendary actor late Irrfan was laurelled with two awards-the Best Actor in the leading role (Male) category and the Lifetime Achievement Award. Taapsee Pannu won the Best Actor in the leading role (Female) while her film ‘Thappad’ bagged the Best Film Award.  Amitabh Bachchan was recognized as the Best Actor (Critics) and Alaya F was given away the Best female debutante.
