68 more COVID-19 deaths in Odisha; Toll surges to 5,445

Bhubaneswar: The number of deaths due to COVID-19 surged to 5,445 in Odisha with 68 more fatalities.

State Health & Family Welfare Department informed it today after due completion of death audit process.

The fatalities were reported from 11 districts. While Khordha reported the highest of 30 deaths, Puri is in the second spot in terms of single-day deaths.

Eight died of Coronavirus in Angul district, 7 in Mayurbhanj district and 6 in Keonjhar district. One each succumed to the virus in Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Nuapada and Sundargarh districts.
