Manoj Das to get Amrit Kirti award

Eminent Odia litterateur and professor of Sri Aurobindo International Centre for Education, Pondicherry, Padmashree Manoj Das would be conferred with the prestigious Amruta Kirti award for his profound contributions in the field of spirituality and philosophy.

The annual award, instituted by Mata Amrutanandamayee Trust in 2001, carries a cash prize of Rs 1, 23,456, a statue of Goddess Saraswati and a citation.

Prof Das would receive the award at a glittering function at Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala on September 27 on the occasion of the 60th birthday celebration of internationally acclaimed spiritual leader Mata Amrutanandamayee Devi.
