6998 new COVID-19 cases detected in Odisha; Details here

Bhubaneswar: As many as 6998 fresh COVID-19 cases were detected in Odisha during the last 24 hours as the tally surged to 435513.

Out of the 6998 cases, 4054 were detected in quarantine while 2944 are local contact cases.

Khurda registered highest number of cases as 919 more persons in the district contracted the virus.

With this, the number of active COVID-19 cases in Odisha mounted to 57710.
